National Electronic Identity Card / Carte
Nationale Electronique.
Please note that
the old national identity card is no longer used for the renewal of
the Moroccan Biometric Passport. You need to apply for an
Electronic one prior to applying for passport. (The processing
time is 4 weeks).
Required documents to replace the old Identity
Card:

The Consular
Registration Card. You may
apply for one at the same time as National Electronic Card.
·
Original of the
old national card (carte nationale).
·
The original Birth
certificate (both in Arabic and in French) issued within the last six
months by the authorities of the place of your birth or the family
book for nationals
born
in the UK.
·
Proof of address
(utility bills, bank statement, NHS card )
·
04 Photos.
Required
documents to replace an expired or lost Electronic card:

The Consular
Registration Card. You may apply for one at the same time as
National Card.
·
The original of
Electronic national card or a copy if lost.
·

Fees:
The Fee for the Electronic national card is 150 DHs paid cash
in pounds depending on the currency rate..
